SRA3 is the paper size most commercial digital print machines will take. Lithographic or offset printers can of course, print larger sizes. We have expanded our range of papers for laser printing with a new material – satin double-sided paper for colour laser printing with a weight of 170 g/m2.
An in-demand and cost-efficient paper size, sra3 paper is most typically used to create a canvas, A3 poster, A3 flyer, and even a mathematical chart. A3 paper is multi-functional and used by a plethora of industries; a paper format most commonly used to render project activities and large scale presentations. Suitable for home printing, please always check your individual printer specifications prior to attempting to print, as we cannot guarantee all printers will accommodate all paper/card. Lomond Colour Laser Paper Series is designed for high quality full-colour laser print technologies with dry or liquid toner. The series is recommended for speed printing of colour documents, booklets, loose leaves, leaflets, cards, posters and preprints. Pro Design is a top quality, uncoated paper for professional colour laser printing. The area that we can’t print on, the outer unprinted white parts, is trimmed down afterwards, leaving us with a finished, edge-to-edge A3 print as required. SRA3 is a common size that most commercial digital print machines take.
A3 paper is part of the ISO 216 standard used across the globe. One of the most popular paper formats used internationally, A3 paper is supported by most, if not all, printers and computer software programs. The resolution needed to print A3 size images with the best quality is 297 x 420 at 300 PPI . SRA is an abbreviated term that stands for ‘Supplementary Raw Format A’; a slightly larger size than its corresponding ‘A’ paper. In regards to desktop printers, commercial print machines simply can’t print edge-to-edge, so the extra SRA3 size allows flexibility and a little movement to get around this issue. Please include size in millimetres, quantity, paper grammage, texture and finish when requesting a quotation.

Printers have a maximum capacity of sheets they can process in a period. The main reason for printing multiple sizes on one SRA3 sheet is cost.
